9-1-1 Workshop and Board of Education Meets Tonight

There is going to be a 9-1-1 workshop taking place tonight at the Cannon County Courthouse. It will start at 5:30.

The new look Cannon County Board of Education will meet tonight at 6:30 at the Woodbury Grammar School Cafeteria. Two board members Wade McMackins (1st District) and Derrick Mullins (3rd District) were elected in the August 2020 election to the school board. Jennifer Duggin (2nd District) and Althea Thomas (5th District) were appointed by the Cannon County Commission last week after the Board of Education accepted the resignations of the two previously filling the seats. There will be an election held in the Presidential election to determine who will fill the seats until 2022.
