Services for Agnes Ruth Woodward, 87, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 11, 2013, at the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Russell Richardson officiating.
Mrs. Woodward was the former owner of Rainbow Laundrymat and was a nurse tech at Middle Tennessee Medical Center. Visitation is from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at Woodbury Funeral Home.
A New York City native, she died Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at her home in Bradyville.
Survivors include her children, Sharon (Les) Bush of Bradyville, Arlene Bragg of Smyrna, Helen (Mike) Baldwin and Peter (Carolyn) Woodward, all of Murfreesboro, Carol (Milton) Nunley of McMinnville and Janice (Alan) Goudie of Chapel Hill. Also surviving are 17 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Yantz and Margaret Breen Yantz; her husband, Arnold "Woody" Woodard; and her brothers and sister.
Mrs. Woodward was a member of World Outreach Church in Murfreesboro and the Cannon and Murfreesboro Senior Citizens Centers.
Pallbearers are Ryan Bush, Jeremy Bush, Adam Long, Matthew Philips, Andrew Simmons and Alan Goudie.
