The Patrick 2016 Labor Day weekend trip is now "in the books." It was back to Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg as usual with all 21 staying in a cabin. Whew!! And with lots of good food, good times and good laughs. Saturday most of the crowd tubed down the river while P-pa and I took Shiloh Patrick (too young to tube) with us to Chestnut Hill and the Bush Beans Visitor Center. They have a café there that had some mighty fine looking food at reasonable prices; however, we chose dessert. Mine was a piece of pinto bean pecan pie! Pinto bean pecan pie you say? Yep and it was good with ice cream.

Our family's eating-out preferences for the weekend were Huck Finn's and Texas Roadhouse.
