The deadline to qualify to run for local offices in both the May Republican Primary and County General Election ended at noon on Thursday, Feb. 15.

Over 50 people had qualified for offices ranging from county executive to road commissioner as of the deadline.

Those persons who qualified have one week (Feb. 22 at noon) to withdraw their names from consideration.
