Cannon Schools Dismiss at 12:30 Thursday Screenings Rescheduled

Cannon County Schools will dismiss at 12:30 PM today, Thursday, March 25th, 2021 due to the threat of Severe Weather moving into Cannon County this afternoon. Director of Cannon County Schools, Mr. William F. Curtis stated, "Cannon County is in an elevated category for severe weather later this Thursday Afternoon, and we desire to have our students safely at home before this severe weather moves into our area. Buses will leave Cannon County High School at 12:30 PM and arrive at our Elementary Schools at approximately 12:45 PM. Parent Pickup will be available starting at 12:15 PM at each Elementary School."

In a related matter, due to the threat of severe weather today, Thursday, March 25th, 2021, the PreK/Kindergarten Screening scheduled for today at the Cannon County Schools Central Offices has been RESCHEDULED to Monday, March 29th, 2021. ALL Families who have appointments are being contacted to reschedule. We apologize for any inconvenience.
