Cannon Schools Open Two Hours Late Today Wednesday 5th

Cannon County Schools will be opening two hours LATE on Wednesday, January 5th, 2022 with Bus Driver Discretion. Schools which have the Early Morning ESP Program will open on-time for convenience of Parents-Guardians.

Director of Cannon County Schools - Mr. William Freddy Curtis stated, "There has been much melting today with temperatures in the 40s, and temperatures are forecast to be above freezing throughout tonight. However, Cannon County Schools has received reports regarding a few troublesome spots in some rural parts of Cannon County. These two hours will allow our Bus Drivers to visually insure the road conditions after sunrise. Schools which have the Early Morning ESP Program will open on-time for convenience of Parents-Guardians. The safety of our students and personnel is always our utmost priority."
