Cannon County Director of Schools, Mr. William F. Curtis congratulates Mr. Chris Bailiff, Custodian at Woodland School named as "Employee of the Month" for August 2019.

WOODBURY - Mr. Chris Bailiff, Custodian at Woodland School was named as "Employee of the Month" for August 2019 by Cannon County Schools. During the September Meeting of the Cannon County Board of Education on Thursday, September 12th, 2019, Mr. Bailiff was recognized and presented a certificate by Cannon County Schools Director William F. Curtis for his service to his school and the Cannon County School System. Employees are nominated by School Principals or School District Supervisors and are voted on during monthly Principal and Supervisor meetings regarding individuals who exemplify the Mission and Vision of Cannon County Schools.

Woodland School Principal, Angela Cossey, stated, "Mr. Chris is beginning his second year at Woodland. He takes great pride in doing his job well every day. Mr. Chris gives a smile and laugh to students and staff daily. No matter what may be needed, Mr. Chris is always willing to tackle the job. The teachers, staff, students, and parents of Woodland School appreciate his dedication and service in helping make our school a great place to learn."

Director of Cannon County Schools, Mr. William F. Curtis, commented "Mr. Chris Bailiff personifies what a School Custodian should do and be on the job. He is a great representative of all our fantastic School Custodians in our School System! He is also an integral part of the school and goes beyond to help the students, faculty, and staff of Woodland School with whatever they need accomplished. I believe Mr. Bailiff personifies our Mission of Cannon County Schools of 'Preparing All Students for their Future' by most assuredly being 'The New E3 - Engaged in Excellence Every Day.'
