The swearing in ceremony for officials newly elected and re-elected will take place Thursday, Aug. 30 at 6 p.m. in the courtroom of the Cannon County Courthouse. The Honorable J. Mark Rogers will be officiating. The terms for all officials elected on Aug, 2, 2018, start on Sept. 1, 2018. The ceremony is open to the public.
