Gannon: Woodbury still collecting garbage

The Town of Woodbury is continuing regular trash picks, Public Works Director Shane Gannon reports.

Gannon added, "we may be a little late, but we are running our normal schedule."

Gannon said he had received some calls from residents wondering if the town was collecting garbage because if the recent temporary closure at the Cannon County Convenience Center.

He said because the town is now having to haul the garbage of the residents of the Town of Woodbury to the landfill, it takes a little longer to run some of the routes.

The town has not been able to take its trucks to the convenience center since the compactor there broke down last week.
