Gladys Francis Hayes, 88, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 04, 2019 at her home. She was born in Cannon Co.

She is survived by her children, Kathy (Ken) Hazelwood of Murfreesboro, Mark (Becky) Hayes of Woodbury and Roger (Connie) Singer of Readyville; grandchildren, Brandon (Nicole) Burks, Todd (Brett) Burks, Olivia Young, Daniel (Erin) Hayes, Chris (Kristin) Singer, Amy Singer and Melissa (Matt) Allen; great grandchildren, Addison, Colton, Carter and Grayson Burks, Casen Youngblood, Oaklyn Burks, Nile Young, Sarah, Ava and Ella Hayes, Halle, Colby and Emma Singer, Ashlyn and Caleb Montrose, Maddie and Anniston Allen; sisters, Drunell Higgins of Woodbury and Dean (Don) Barker of Readyville.

Ms. Hayes was preceded in death by her parents, Lytton and Gertrude (Hill) Francis; her stepmother, Clistie (Travis) Francis; siblings, Wilma Francis Adams, James Francis and Bob Francis.

A graduate of Woodbury Central High School, Class of 1949, Gladys was a member of Woodbury Church of Christ and was a bookkeeper at Super Service Truck Lines and Humbolt Trucking. Over the years, she has been a very active member and board of director at the Arts Center of Cannon Co., where she was an actress, producer and an avid supporter.

Funeral Services will be 2 pm Monday, December 09, 2019 at Woodbury Church of Christ, Old Auditorium with Bro. Daniel Hayes officiating. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation with 2 pm - 7 pm Sunday, December 8, 2019 and 11 am until 1:30 pm Monday, December 9, 2019 at Woodbury Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Arts Center of Cannon Co.
