A going away party for Stacey and Ernie Hemple and their son Lem was held on Saturday at the home of Denney and Amberley Brown. The Hemples are returning to New York after spending many years in Cannon County.

Sandy Brown has return to New York after visiting friends and relatives here.

Bobbie Sissom and family from Florida recently visited Earline Williams.

Paul and Shelley Churchwell went to McMinnville on Friday night for a get together at the home of Shelby's sister Barbara for a cook-out. Lots of food, music and Rook playing. They always enjoy getting together on Friday nights.

Most people are about as happy as they make up their minds to be. The important thing in life is not what happens to us, but how we react to what happens. How beautiful a day can be when kindness touches it? One cannot do justice to the splendor of the rainbow by taking black and white photos.
