Jack Pugh

Mr. Jack Pugh, age 85, of Liberty passed away Sunday morning, March 23, 2014 at Alive Hospice at St. Thomas Hospital West in Nashville. He was born October 7, 1928 to his parents the late Roy and Bessie Lee Parker Pugh. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Tommy Pugh and a brother, Harold Pugh.

Jack was a farmer and a member of the Sycamore Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Ruth Pugh of Liberty; two daughters, Jackie (Tim) Cantrell of Smithville and Lori (Chris) Hall of Rutherfordton, NC; 8 grandchildren, Stephanie Kirby, Hunter Pugh, Ben Pugh, Abby Cantrell, Caleb Hall, Wesley Hall, Alayna Hall and Lydia Hall.

Funeral services are planned for 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Richard Williams and Chris Hall officiating with burial following in Sycamore Cemetery. Visitation is Monday 12:00 noon until 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 1:00 p.m. DeKalb Funeral Chapel was in charge of the arrangements.
