James Calvin Todd

James Calvin “J.C.” Todd, 81, died Friday, August 19, 2011 at his home in Morrison, TN following an extended illness.

A Pastor at Begin Life in Jesus Church on Hwy. 53, Mr. Todd was a retired dock worker for ABF Trucking in Dearborn, MI. He was born in Cannon County, TN.  

Survivors include his wife, Geneva Vibbert Todd of Morrison; children, Judy Fish of Smithville and Ricky Todd of McMinnville; stepchildren, Linda (Jerry) Anderson and Jimmy (Mary) Gregory of Glasgow, KY, Ronnie (Jody) Gregory of Nashville and Donnie (Barb) Gregory of Soddy Daisy, TN; sisters, Pauline Robinson of Kitrell, Stella (J.C.) Rogers of Kitrell and Dorris Clouse of Bradyville; and brother, Carl (Carol) Todd of Lebanon.

Also survived by 9 grandchildren, 7 step grandchildren and several great grandchildren

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawton and Addy Smithson Todd; daughters, Wanda Todd, Donna Moore, Joyce Farless & Bobbie Todd; Siblings, Wade, Howard, Lamen and Palmer Todd, Martha Gannon, Thelma Hollinsworth and Geraldine Rigsby.

Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home at 2 p.m. on Sunday, August 21, 2011 with Bro. Wade West and Bro. John Parton, Jr. officiating.

Burial will be in Amity Cemetery.   

Visitation is from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Saturday, August 20, 2011.
