Graveside services for James Dewey Bryson, 90,  will be held 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 10, 2013 at Gaither Cemetery on Dewey Bryson Road in Readyville. Roger and Joanie Eakin will officiate.

Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Mildred King Bryson of Readyville; three daughters, Wanda Louise Duggin and Sandy Brandon, both of Woodbury, and Victoria Lynn Duvall of Hillsboro; seven grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Grover Cleveland and Tehra Jane Dobbs Bryson. A member of Sanders Fork Baptist Church, Mr. Bryson was a logger and a farmer.

He died Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2013 at Stones River Hospital's emergency room.

Pallbearers are Jim Adcock, Donnie Odom, Timmy and Brandy Reynolds, Lewis Duvall and Samantha "Sam" Duncan. Blake Duncan is honorary pallbearer.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Gaither Cemetery in care off Woodbury Funeral Home.
