Larry Lee Lancin passed peacefully on December 24, 2016 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital from a prolonged illness at the age of 68 with both daughters by his side.

He was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan and grew up in Woodbury, TN. He is a graduate of Cannon County High School Class of 1966.

Larry was a veteran of The United States Navy and completed two tours of duty in Viet Nam. He also later worked at the Veteran's Administration Hospital in Murfreesboro, TN. In his career he was best known as a seasoned salesman and entrepreneur. He and his wife, Sandra, owned various businesses in both McMinnville and Woodbury, TN; including Magic Video & Guns, Pioneer Audio and Video, McMinnville Bowling Alley. He also previously worked at Calsonic Yurozo in McMinnville, TN; and retired this past May from over ten years of service to Lowe's Home Improvement Stores both in McMinnville, Murfreesboro and Jackson, TN. Anyone who knew Larry, knew of his passion for boating, fishing, deer hunting and gunsmithing.

Larry is survived by his father, Stephen Lancin, Jr. of Henderson, TN; his daughter Melissa Bolton, her husband Patrick and children Alex and Anna of Henderson, TN; his daughter Heather Studenberg, her husband Daus and daughter Audrey of Smyrna, TN and many close family members and friends.

Larry is preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Burger Lancin. They were married December 28, 1968 in Woodbury, TN. He is also preceded in death by
his mother Alma White Simmons Lancin.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Woodbury Funeral Home in Woodbury, TN. Visitation will be held Wednesday December 28, 2016 from 4-8 pm. The funeral service will be held December 29, 2016 at 11 am. Joey Ferrell and Dr. Billy Smith will be officiating. Burial will follow the funeral at Riverside Cemetery in Woodbury, TN.

If you knew Larry and his personality, you would know that he would have preferred everyone dress casually and not wear dress suits.
