Legion executive board to meet

American Legion Post 279, Executive Board, will meet on Thursday, July 11, 2013, at 6:00PM, at the Senior Citizens Center in Woodbury. Our regular meeting, will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2013, at 6:30 PM, with dinner being served at 5:45 p.m., at the Senior Citizens Center in Woodbury.

If you are a veteran, you need to be part of American Legion Post 279. And if you are a spouse of a veteran, our Auxiliary needs a few good ladies. We need a few good men and women. 

And our Sons of the American Legion Squadron 279, under the leadership of Dr. William (Bill) Jennings, needs a few good sons. Come on out and help us do good things for our youth, our community, and our veterans and their families.
