Due to miscommunication, it was inadvertently reported in this week's Cannon Courier that the CCHS Lions football game against Jackson County would be played on Thursday night this week.

That information is incorrect. The Lions will play against Jackson County on Friday at 7 p.m. at home.

It is the first of four straight home games for the Lions, who will play a Thursday night game next week, Aug. 31, against Sequatchie County.
