PrintLynwood Barrett, age 70, died Saturday April 8, 2017 at Centennial Medical Center. He was a native of Cannon County and was preceded in death by his mother Elene Green Barrett.
Mr. Barrett is survived by his dad, Hoyte R. Barrett of Murfreesboro; daughter, Julie Barrett Walker of Nashville; grandson & his wife, Blake & Savannah Walker of Murfreesboro; great granddaughter, Makenna Walker of Murfreesboro; sister, Elizabeth Bauman of Woodbury. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
He was a retired truck driver, a member of the Church of Christ, and a member of the Cannon County Walking Horse Assoc.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Monday, April 10 at the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bros. Norman Pelham and Ronnie Hall officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 PM Sunday April 9, 2017. IN LIEU OF FLOWERS PLEASE MAKE DONATIONS TO THE CCWHA at Woodbury Funeral Home.
