Margie Brown Gunter

Margie Brown Gunter, 72, passed away Monday, Dec. 26, 2016 at her home. She was a native of Cannon Co., Tn.

She is survived by son, Roy (Amanda) Brown of Woodbury; Stepsons, Jerry and Jimmy Gunter both of Murfreesboro; Stepdaughters, Rita Gunter and Joann Johnson both of Murfreesboro; Grandchildren, Austin Pollard, Kayla & Kendra Brown; Special Friend: Joe Pelham of Woodbury; Sisters, Helen Fults of Murfreesboro and Linda Joyce Bogle of Carthage; several half- brothers and sisters.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd Mathis and Alta Pearl Murphy, her husband: Kenneth Gunter and stepson: Bobby Gunter.

Ms. Gunter was a member of Grace Assembly Church and enjoyed helping others, especially taking food to others and was a Certified Nursing Assistant.

Funeral services will be 2 pm Friday, Dec. 30, 2016 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Tony Holt and Bro. Marty Cooper officiating. Interment will follow in the Gunter-Grizzle Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Thursday, Dec. 29, 2016 from 4 to 9 PM.
