Mary Christine Smith

Mary Christine Smith age 65 of McMinnville, passed away Tuesday morning December 3, 2024, at her residence. She was born March 21, 1959, to her parents the late Nolan & Dorothy May Estes Underwood. She had worked at the shirt factory, Goody's, and as a cook at Warren County High School, she was a member of the Pentecostals of McMinnville Church. In addition, to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers: Willie Underwood and Calvin Underwood; First husband: Buford Anthony Myers; Grandson: Kayden Anthony Myers. Funeral services will be held 11:AM Thursday December 5, 2024, at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bros. Robert Burns and Jason Nunley officiating with burial to follow in the Center Hill Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday 3:PM until 7:PM and Thursday 9:AM until time of the service at 11:AM. Survivors include her husband Roger Smith of McMinnville; Children: Christy (Tim) Anderson of Sparta, Angela (Beau) Patrick of Smithville, Shanda (Paul) Peterson of Sewanee, Alisha (Andrew) McCormick of McMinnville; Grandchildren: Blake Myers, Brooklyn Hosse, Austin Hosse, Spencer Peterson, Carson McCormick, Brantley McCormick; Great-Grandchildren: Mason Myers, Adalyn Myers, Tucker Godwin; Sisters: Wanda Beshearse of Smithville, Joyce Farless of Lebanon, Rebecca Farris of Smithville, Brenda Anderson of Liberty; Brother: Greg Johnson of Rock Island.
