Mary Gertrude Lack Vance

Mary Gertrude Lack Vance, 77, died Sat., July 14, 2012, at St. Thomas Hospital.

A resident of Woodbury, she was a native of Cannon County.

Survivors:

Children: Rose Mary (Donald) Corley of Readyville; Ross Nichols and Lee Wayne (Missy) Nichols of Woodbury.

Sisters: Betty Jean Upchurch of Murfreesboro; Violet Coppinger and Christine Carter of Woodbury.

Grandchildren: Dillon and Drew Corley, Dustin Nichols, David and Brianna Nichols and Josh Rooker.

Great Grandchildren: Landon and Savanna Nichols.

Special Friend: Linda Haley.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny and Hattie Parker Lack; her husband, Billy Guy Vance; 4 brothers, Lee, Ed, Norman and Willie Lack and sister, Nellie Gann.

A member of the Plainview Baptist Church, she was retired from Samsonite.

Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday July 17 with Bro. Charlie Heath officiating.

Interment will be in Riverside Gardens Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, July 16, 2012.

Pallbearers: Dustin & David Nichols; Dillon & Drew Corley; Tanner Lack, Curtis Lack and Stephen Coppinger.
