Ms. Ruth Elena Sjostedt

Ms. Ruth Elena Sjostedt, age 96, of Bradyville, passed away Thursday, July 16, 2015 at Community Care of Rutherford County. She was a native of Pontiac, Rhode Island.

Survivors include her daughter, Karen (Marvin) Pearl of Bradville; Grandson, Kevin (Lisa) Cini of Deerfield, NH; Great Grandchildren, Hunter Cini & Brooke Cini of Deerfield, NH; Friend of 75 years, Viola Knapp of Cranston, Rhode Island.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl Sandberg & Hattie Johnson Sandberg; Husband, Edwin Sjostedt; and Brother, G.L. Sandberg.

Ms. Sjostedt was a lifelong member of the Lutheran Church, was a homemaker, and retired from the State of Rhode Island. She enjoyed sitting on her front porch with her dog, Snickers.
