..WIND ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM CST THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...South winds 15 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph
  expected.

* WHERE...All of Middle Tennessee.

* WHEN...Until 9 PM CST this evening.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects.
  Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may
  result.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high
profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.
.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Severe weather event expected today. Severe storms are likely to
develop in the afternoon and early evening. These storms may
produce either straight-lined winds and/or spinup tornadoes.

Additionally, gradient winds today are likely to gust to around
45mph at times.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Heavy rainfall will be possible Monday through Wednesday at times.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation may be needed. Please relay any
information about observed severe weather to the NWS while following
all local, state, and CDC guidelines.


Today
Showers and thunderstorms likely, then showers and possibly a thunderstorm after 2pm. Some of the storms could be severe. High near 72. Windy, with a south wind 15 to 25 mph, with gusts as high as 45 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New rainfall amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.
Tonight
Showers and thunderstorms before 10pm, then a slight chance of showers between 10pm and 11pm. Some of the storms could be severe. Low around 27. Windy, with a southwest wind 15 to 25 mph becoming north northwest after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 40 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Friday
Mostly cloudy through mid morning, then gradual clearing, with a high near 39. North northwest wind 5 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
Friday Night
Clear, with a low around 24. Northwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.
Saturday
Sunny, with a high near 50. Light and variable wind becoming north northwest 5 to 10 mph in the morning.
Saturday Night
Clear, with a low around 27. North wind around 5 mph becoming calm.
Sunday
Sunny, with a high near 59. Light south southeast wind becoming south 10 to 15 mph in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph.
Sunday Night
Partly cloudy, with a low around 43. South wind 5 to 10 mph.
