Billy Lee Mayo, 48, passed away Monday, January 29, 2018 at St. Thomas West after a short illness. He was a native of Cannon Co., Tn.

He is survived by his wife, Wanda Markum Mayo of Woodbury; Children, Rachel (Kevin) Miller, Jonathan (Kayla) Johnson all of Bradyville, Hunter Mayo and Aleyiah Mayo both of Gordonsville; Father, Roy Mayo of Lebanon; Sister, Martha "Kat" (Danny) Morgan of Al.; 5 Nephews, Bubba & Dustin Nichols, Casey, Clint & Cody Morgan; Aunt, Linda Patterson of Murfreesboro; Mother-in-law and Father-in-law, Troy and Jean Murphy of Woodbury. He was so excited to be expecting his first grandchild in August.

He was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Dorothy Jean South and Chuck South and his grandmother, Martha York.

A member of the Baptist church, Billy was a roofer and construction worker. He loved fishing and being outdoors.

Funeral Services will be 1 pm Thursday, Feb. 01, 2018 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Lee Moody officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 11am to 9 pm Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2018.
