Oscar Stoakley Henderson, Jr., age 76, passed away suddenly at his home on Saturday, January 23, 2016. He was a native of Cannon Co., TN.

He is survived by his children, Terry Henderson of Bradyville, Ricky (Brenda) Henderson of Rock Island, Jerry Henderson of McMinnville, and Rita (Ronnie) Rogers of Bradyville; Step-son, Charles Douglas Cooper of Auburntown; 2 Brothers, James Henderson of Murfreesboro and Hilton Henderson of Houston, Texas. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren & 14 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar S. Sr. and Madeline Brandon Henderson; step-mother, Ida Pearl Blair Henderson; his wives, Peggy Henderson and Fay Todd Henderson; grandchild, Anthony Brian Henderson; and his brother, Bill Henderson.

Mr. Henderson was a member of the Hollow Springs Community Church. He was retired from Genesco.

Funeral services will be 1 pm Wednesday January 27, 2016 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Tony Burnett officiating. Interment will follow at Centerhill Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 4 pm until 9 pm Tuesday, January 26, 2016.
