Otha Edward Moore Sr.

Services for Otha Edward Moore Sr., 90, of Woodbury, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Ray Patrick and Bro. Leonard Herman officiating. Burial will follow in King Cemetery.

Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at Woodbury Funeral Home.

Mr. Moore died Monday at Woodbury Health Care.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eula King Moore and Will Jackson Moore, son, Edward Lee Moore, sisters, Lila Pearl Ham and Elura Sutton, brothers, Lacy Earl Moore, Jake Moore, Forty Moore, Austin Moore and Joe Barton Moore.

He was a member of the Church of Christ and was a WWII veteran, serving in the Army. He was a farmer, a former Cannon County Deputy, constable and worked at Alvin C. York Veterans Hospital.

Survivors include his children, Sue (Terry) Pelham, Otha Edward Moore Jr. and Carmine Rogers, all of Woodbury, Trish (Paul) Helton of Murfreesboro, Shirley Warren of Monteagle and Carol (Butch) Young of Wartrace; grandchildren, Alexis Pelham, Kristie (James) Bailey, Brad Pursell, Jamie Motley (Kenny Pewitt), Ryan (Penny) Helton, Donna Fann (Billy Mingle), Mark (Wendy) Young, Kelly Young, Chuck Young, Michael (Helen) Rogers, Dimitri (Richard) Leyhew, Brent (Crissy) Roberts and Lisa (Ronnie) Psani; great grandchildren, Ashley (Chris) Still, Desteney Bailey, Colton Pursell, Erica Melton, McKenzie (Spencer) Bennett, Sarah Motley, Cheyenne and Hagen Fann, Hunter, Bryce and McKayla Helton, Ashlee Geiger, Aaron Geiger, Dustin Rogers and Rebecca Dye, Cassandra (Ethan) Thon, Leah, Ashley, Hannah Leyhew, Jake Weist, Cory and Ayden Rogers, Hope, Ronnie and Andrew Psaini; great-great grandchildren, McKinnlee Still and Brielle Geiger.
