All persons, resident and non-residents, having claims, matured and unmatured against the estate are required to file same with the Clerk of the Chancery Court on or before the earlier of the dates prescribed in (1) or (2), otherwise claims will be forever barred:

Notice of Public Hearing

The Town of Woodbury Board of Mayor and Aldermen will conduct a Public Hearing Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at 7:00 PM at Woodbury City Hall concerning the adoption of the following ordinances:

Ordinance No. 494--an ordinance adopting the 'CERTIFIED PROPERTY TAX RATE" FOR THE Town of Woodbury for the year of 2018, using the calculation of said property in the corporate limits as fixed by the Cannon County Assessor of Property for said year. (The certified tax rate set by the State of TN is $0.8862)

Ordinance No. 495--an ordinance to amend the zoning map of the Town of Woodbury, Tennessee to rezone certain parcels along West Main Street from the C-3 Commercial zoning district to the C-2 Commercial zoning district. (Also known as the Westgate Shopping Center, Section 1 and 2, on West Main Street)

Ordinance No. 496--an ordinance amending the original budget ordinance for the Town of Woodbury, Tennessee for the fiscal year 2017-2018.

REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL SOLID WASTE HAULING
CANNON COUNTY

The Cannon County Solid Waste Department will be accepting proposals for the transportation of solid waste from the collection site on Alexander Drive, Woodbury, Tennessee to Allied Waste Middlepoint Landfill in Walter Hill, Tennessee. Cannon County shall pay hauler based on a per ton price of solid waste transported and delivered to Allied Waste Inc. payable on a monthly basis. The bid price shall be expressed in dollars per delivered ton including in the bid amount the costs of all hauler duties and responsibilities. For a list of duties and responsibilities for which proposals are sought, contact the County Executive's Office, 200 W. Main St, Woodbury, TN 37190,

Proposals will be accepted until 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 16, 2018.

The term shall extend from September 1, 2018 to completion of the construction and improvements to the Cannon County Convenience Center or 24 months from the date of a contract accepting a proposal, whichever occurs first.
