Pursuant to the provisions of T.C.A. § 66-5-108, it appears that Plaintiff has filed a Complaint Of Claim Of Abandoned Mineral Interest for the surface estate owned by Plaintiff located at Tracts One (1), Two (2), Three (3) and Four (4), of the Bob Mayfield Property, 20.49 acres, more or less, Parchcorn Road, Woodbury, Tennessee (Map & Parcel: 048-00401), appearing of record in Record Book 110, page 877, Register's Office of Cannon County, Tennessee.
Therefore, under the authority contained in T.C.A § 66-5-108, notice is hereby given that the mineral interest identified in the above Complaint shall lapse in sixty (60) days after the date of first publication, and unless the Defendant appears and answers alleging a claim to the mineral interest, the Clerk and Master shall so certify to the Chancellor, who shall enter an Order declaring the mineral interest has lapsed and vesting title to the mineral interest in the Plaintiff, as owner of the surface estate.

NOTICE TO CREDITORS

Estate of James Houston Barrett.

Notice is hereby given that on the 25th day of February, 2019, letters of testamentary or letters of administration with respect to the estate of James Houston Barrett deceased were issued to the undersigned by the Chancery Court of Cannon County, Tennessee. All persons, resident and non-residents, having claims, matured and unmatured against the estate are required to file same with the Clerk of the Chancery Court on or before the earlier of the dates prescribed in (1) or (2), otherwise claims will be forever barred:
(1) (A) Four (4) months from the date of the first publication (or posting, as the case may be) of this Notice if the creditor received an actual copy of the Notice to Creditors at least sixty (60) before the date that is four (4) months from the date of the first publication (or posted); or (B) Sixty (60) days from the date of the creditor receiving an actual copy of the Notice to Creditors, if the creditor received the copy of the Notice less than sixty (60) days prior to the date that is four (4) months from the date of the first publication (or posting) as described in (1)(A): or

Public Hearing Notice

The Town of Woodbury will be conducting a public hearing on April 2, 2019 at 7:00PM at City Hall. The purpose of the hearing is to receive input on the proposed annexation and plan of services for property owned by Cole Reed, Kendall Smith and Mike Hutchins. This area along Old McMinnville Road has been requested by the property owner to be annexed into the Woodbury Corporate Limits. Copies of the proposed annexation resolution and plan of services can be found at Woodbury City Hall, Cannon County Court House and the Woodbury Post Office.

Mobile Classroom for Sale

The Cannon County Board of Education is taking sealed bids on 1 Mobile Classroom Unit that has been declared surplus. The unit is located behind the Short Mountain School, 5988 Short Mountain Road, Woodbury, TN 37190. It must be removed from school property no later than May 15, 2019, unless other arrangements are made at the time of bid approval by the Board. Any damage to school property caused by removal will be the responsibility of the buyer.

Inspection of the unit may be done during school hours by contacting Robert Pitts, Principal of Short Mountain School, 5988 Short Mountain Road, Woodbury, TN 37190, 615-563-4418.

Bids will be opened on April 5, 2019, at 10:00 AM at the Central Office of Cannon County Schools, 301 West Main St., Woodbury, TN. Your sealed bid must be received no later than 10:00 on that date, marked MOBILE CLASSROM BID in order to be considered. The Cannon County Board of Education reserves the right to refuse any and all bids.

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

The Cannon County Board of Education is taking two separate bids for upgrades to the septic system at Auburn School.

Bid #1

• Furnish and replace grease tank with a 1000 gallon tank.
• Repair main sewer line from school building where it has separated underneath pavement.
• Put in 2 new cleanouts: one into grease tank and one in line going from the grease tank to the septic tank.
• Repair of septic tank that has a dirt bottom and pour a concrete bottom.
• Haul off all debris.
• Furnish and install all gravel, pipe, cleanouts, and whatever else is needed to complete the job.

Work may not begin until after May 24, 2019, and must be completed before August 1, 2019. To inspect the site, please contact Melinda Crook, Principal of Auburn School at 615-464-4342. Bids will be opened at 10:30 AM on April 5, 2019, and will be considered by the Board of Education in their meeting on April 11, 2019 at 6:30 PM at Woodbury Grammar School Cafeteria. Bids must be received in a sealed envelope by 10:30 AM on April 5, 2019, clearly marked AUBURN SEPTIC UPGRADE BID. Bidders are welcome to attend the bid opening. Bidders are requested to attend the School Board Workshop on April 9, 2019, at the Cannon County Board of Education Central Office, 301 W. Main St., Woodbury, TN 37190, and the School Board Meeting on April 11, 2019 - 6:30 PM at Woodbury Grammar School Cafeteria, 530 W. Adams St., Woodbury, TN 37190.
