Ricky Butcher

Mr. Ricky Butcher, 28, of Woodbury died Feb. 7, 2012. He was born on Dec. 24, 1983 in Harvey, IL. He was preceded in death by his sister, Savannah Butcher; grandfathers, James Butcher and Jerry Van Dyck.

He is survived by his mother, Luanne Rains of Readyville; father, James Thomas Butcher of Illinois; brother, Nicholas (Raven Scott) Butcher of Woodbury; grandmothers, Joyce Butcher of Manchester and Nancy Van Dyck of Illinois; niece Laylah Butcher and her mother, Brandy Campbell of Woodbury; uncle, Joel Butcher; girlfriend, Melissa McTaggart.

Mr. Butcher was a graduate of Cannon County High School. He worked as a carpenter and enjoyed building things. Doing mechanic work, working in the yard and gardening were things he liked doing also.

Visitation will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Friday, Feb. 10, 2012 from 11 AM-2 PM. Funeral serivce will follow in the Smith Funeral Home chapel Friday, Feb. 10, 2012 at 2 PM.
