Robert Fletcher Seeks 2nd District Constable Seat As Write-In Candidate

Robert Fletcher Seeks 2nd District Constable Seat As Write-In Candidate
My name is Robert Frank Fletcher and I am announcing my candidacy for 2nd district Constable as a write-in for the August 5, 2010 election.

I am the son of Flonnie Fletcher of Woodbury and the late Buford Fletcher. I am married to Tina R. Fletcher and have two sons, Chris is a fireman with the Auburntown Volunteer Fire dept. and Kyle is a student at MTSU.

I was employed as a police officer with the Woodbury Police department from 1980-81 under Chief Roger Elrod. And then employed as a deputy with the Cannon Co. Sheriff’s department under former Sheriff Robert Simpson from 1990-1994 and then Former Sheriff Bob Stoetzel from 1994-1998. In all I bring to you almost 10 years experience in law enforcement. I was the deputy in Auburntown from 1994-1998 under the supervision of Bob Stoetzel because the town of Auburntown asked to have a deputy there because they felt the need to have protection and Bob fulfilled that as part of his promise to protect every Community in Cannon County.

I have lived in this community for 51 years of my life.

I promise to help serve you to my best ability and will work under the orders of the Cannon County Sheriff’s office.

I think my past experience will speak for itself, as most of you that have lived here know, that I always took my job seriously when I was employed with both departments as stated above.

I am asking you for your support and vote as a write-in candidate come August 5, 2010. Thank you.
