Roy Aaron Webster

Mr. Roy Aaron Webster, 60, of Woodbury died at his home April 20, 2010. He was born in McMinnville, TN on January 4, 1950. His parents were the late Newel N. Webster and Wilda E. (Johnson) Webster.

He is survived by two daughters, Mary Katherine (Webster) Leonard and Megan Rochelle (Webster) & Richie Davis both of Woodbury; a sister, Sandra (Webster) Johnson; five grandchildren, Colton Sean Leonard, Curtis Charles Hammatt, Jr, Lily Ansley Davis, Jack Webster Davis, Rose Amelia Davis and three great grandchildren, Logan Hammatt, Kyle Hammatt, Sarah Hammatt; life long best friends and closest persons to being a brother, Arthur Taylor and Stafford Taylor both of Murfreesboro; devoted niece and caretaker, Karen Tejas of McMinnville, other nieces, LeAnne Perez and Teresa Taylor both of McMinnville; nephew, Kenneth & Pearl McKnight of Murfreesboro; eight great nieces and nephews and four great great nieces.

Mr. Webster and his family moved from McMinnville when he was young. He grew up in and around Murfreesboro. Spending time at the lake and water skiing were favorite pass times. He enjoyed all types of sports and playing cards. In years past he worked for Florida Brothers Auto Parts in Murfreesboro. He later owned and operated an automotive paint store. Working on his farm, raising walking horses and cattle were things he loved to do.

Visitation with the family will be Thursday, April 29, 2010 from 4-6 PM at Smith Funeral Home. Memorial services will follow in the Smith Funeral Home chapel on Thursday night at 6 PM. T. B.
