Williams earned first-team All-District 8-AA, and Molly Williams and Jordan Hollis each earned second-team All-District honors.
Great defense paved the way in the physical game. Keeper Ashley Basham collected three saves to keep the shutout in check.
“I’m proud of all of the girls,” Head Coach Lydia Garrett said. “They have given me everything they have all season. The fact they have stayed with it and worked to improve is why we got this win.”
Also playing solid defense and helping control the ball were Bailey Sims, Caitlin Miller, Camille Gilley, Sydney Eldrod, Rose Magana and Mary Talbott all had great defensive efforts.
Midfield play also paramount as Molly Williams, Laken Manier and Kristen McReynolds manned the middle.
