Cannon County Lions High School Baseball team put three runs on the board in the top of the seventh and held off a Monterey comeback to win their fourth consecutive 10-8.
Extra base hits and errors allowed August Morris and Alyssa Calamia to score solo runs in each at plate appearances as the Lionettes High School Softball team got their first win of the season beating Grundy County 12-1.

Today weather permitting the Lionettes are on the road to Unionville to play District 9-AA opponent Community School at 4:00p
Cannon County Lions baseball will be gunning for their fifth straight win as they host Jackson County at 5:30p.
