Cannon County Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition will be holding in person meetings on the second Thursday of the month starting June 10th.
This month's guest speaker will be Kamille Smith, with Cannon County CASA. Kamille will speak about her organization and give details on what they do. She will also discuss how children are affected by and see the effects of substance abuse in the community.
Also on the program will be the presentation of the "TN Together Student Survey" which was a survey given recently to 8th, 10th and 12th grade Cannon County students.
The Coalition will also be discussing recommendations for the director position as directior Thane McCardle announced his resignation.
The meetings take place at the Lions Club Building at 11am.
