Celebrate Recovery A Christ-centered recovery program created to help people overcome any struggle in life meets Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church. Celebrate Recovery is a safe place where people can be honest about real problems, real hurts, habits and hang-ups, and together experience free freedom and new life through God's love. On Tuesday, March 22, Celebrate Recovery will have a communion service to reflect on sacrifices made and to remind each other who we are, how we got here and why it matters. Community Dinner Sycamore Baptist Church Sycamore Baptist, 7165 Sycamore Creek Road, will hold a community dinner the first Wednesday of every month from 5 to 7 p.m. Donations accepted with the funds going for a new church building.

Flags for Sale The American Legion Post 279 in Woodbury is selling flags and accessories. The monies raised from the sale of these flags goes 100% back to our Community, our Youth and our Veterans, in Cannon County. This is an on-going project. We have available an assortment of all sizes and all types of flags - United States Flags, State Flags, Military Service Flags; and all sizes of flag poles. The United States Flag 3'x 5' nylon is $25 (best price anywhere). This is our most popular flag. The United States Flag 4"x 6" is .50 each or $5 a dozen for special occasions. The military services/branches flags are $30 each. For that special display. Southern Self Taught Artists Selections from the Caldwell Collection Now On Display in Cannon Hall Open Tuesday-Saturday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Admission is Free Dr. Benjamin Caldwell, Jr. and Mrs. Gertrude Caldwell generously donated the collection to the Arts Center of Cannon County in 2005. The Caldwells have collected art for more than forty years. Mrs.Caldwell says about collecting art, "I am attracted to art immediately for some reason, either the color, the form or action...As we began to go places and meet the artists, I came to love the people." The collection includes numerous internationally recognized self taught and outsider artists from the south, including works by Mose Tolliver, Jimmie Lee Sudduth, Bessie Harvey, and Homer Green.
