Velma Early Thomas

Graveside services for Velma Early Thomas, 88, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 1, 2013 at Thyatira Cemetery in Bradyville with Bro. Herb Alsup officiating.

Visitation will be 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Sunday, June 30, 2013 at Woodbury Funeral Home.

Mrs. Thomas died Friday, June 28, 21013 at Northside Health Care Center.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Judy Thomas of Milton; and her grandson, Eric Thomas of Jackson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Will and Lavina Youree Early and her husband, Albert Guy Thomas.

Mrs. Thomas was retired from the Veterans Administration in Nashville after 30 years of service and was a member of Smyrna Church of Christ.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Stones River Manor Assisted Living or the American Cancer Society. Donations may be made to Woodbury Funeral Home 615-563-2311.
