The weather is calling for a 40% chance of thundershowers for Saturday. This is the first of the week however and as you know, weather can change. So weather permitting, the Cannon County Chamber of Commerce is hosting the June car cruise in this Saturday at the Cannon County Courthouse parking lot from 4-7pm. The event is sponsored by DTC Communications, O'Reilly's Auto Parts, Jennings Jewelers and Purrfectly Pawlished Pet Salon.

There willl also be a 50/50 drawing. The cost for participating is just $1.00 a ticket, $5.00 for an arm length, $10.00 for a body length, or $20.00 for a car length. We will do a drawing at 6:00 and if you hold the winning number, you will receive half of the money that's collected for the feature.
You're also encouraged to stop by the DTC Communications tent to register for a 32" HDTV to be given away at the Color Of Fall Car Show in September. (must be present to win). Grab a t-shirt or a cap while you register.
The Car Cruise In Saturday is free of charge so bring your wheels and participate.
