Woman to serve one year for DUI
Monday, January 28, 2019 4:47 am Judge Susan Melton presided over Cannon County General Sessions Court on Jan. 22. The results of some of the cases on the docket are as follows: • Tera Dawn Clark pleaded guilty to DUI 3rd offense, reduced from DUI 6th offense. She will serve 11 months, 29 days in the Cannon County Jail. She was also fined $600 and must pay the court costs. In addition, her driver's license was revoked for six years. • Zachary Coldwell Stephens, in court for violation of probation, failed a drug screen. He tested positive for marijuana. His bond was revoked and he was remanded to the custody of the Cannon County Jail. His next court appearance is Jan. 29. • Terra Lynn Burgess admitted to guilt and entered into an agreed order of retirement for 11 months, 29 says on a charge of leaving the scene of a property damage accident. She was also ordered to pay restitution to the victim and the court costs. • Tony Ray Capps pleaded guilty to criminal littering. He was cited for dumping 10 pounds of garbage on the side of the road by TWRA officer Mark Vance. He received a 6-month suspended sentence, 6 months on probation, a $150 fine and was ordered to pay the court costs. Capps also must perform 8 hours of public service. • Jeremy Ray Thomas entered into an agreed order of retirement for 90 days for a charge of criminal littering. • Darian E. Mullen agreed to revocation for violation of probation. He was ordered 30 days in jail and his probation was extended for 5 months. • Laura Kay Adams agreed to revocation for violation of probation. She was placed back on probation for 11 months, 29 days. • Dalton W. Tyree agreed to revocation for violation of probation. He was ordered to serve 60 days in jail and his probation was extended for 8 months, 22 days. • James A. Walls agreed to revocation for violation of probation. He was ordered to serve his original sentence of 11 months, 29 days. • Christy Lynn Mangrum agreed to revocation for violation of probation. Her probation was extended for 11 months, 29 days. • Erica Beth Martin agreed to revocation for violation of probation. Her probation was extended for 11 months, 29 days. • Ralph S. Martin agreed to revocation for violation of probation. His probation was extended for 7 months, 22 days. • Jerry Wayne Mashburn agreed to revocation for violation of probation. His probation was extended for 11 months, 29 days. • Barbara Nichols agreed to revocation for violation of probation. Her probation was extended for 4 months, 28 days.
