Millennium Repertory Company's Teen Actors Guild brings Broadway legend Neil Simon's The Good Doctor to the Manchester Arts Center, beginning January 24. A comedy with music, it's a hilarious mashup of the short stories of Anton Chekhov. A young writer who is struggling with writer's block shares his frustration with the audience through a series of stories that are, by turns, charming, hilarious, sad, and touching.

Director Jonathon Duke says, "What I find fascinating about The Good Doctor its almost hyperbolic take on the human condition. The scenes presented in the show present a caricature of human personality. The characters don't behave or react in way that we would expect, which makes the show entertaining."

The cast includes Vanessa Jarman, Faith Duke, Nik Dunavant, Madelyn Hansen, Tanner Maccagnone, Erin Maccagnone, Melanie McKelvey, Jamie Roberts, Courtney Songer, Jaxen Waggoner, Addison Welch, and Nicole Whitt.

The Good Doctor runs January 24 - February 2, Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 pm and Sundays at 2:00 pm. Tickets are $15 for adults, $13 for seniors and military, and $10 for students, and are available at millenniumrep.org or by calling 931-570-4489. The MAC is located just off the square at 128 E. Main St.

Packages for Millennium's 2020 season, which includes Evita, White Christmas, Frozen, Jr., and West Side Story are also available now.
