Billie Faye Bailey Patterson passed away February 14, 2023 at her home in Cannon Co., following a short illness. She was born in Cannon County and lived her entire life in the Centerhill Community. Preceding her death were her husband, Leonard G. Patterson, her parents, Ealey Bailey and Sue West Bailey; siblings, Burley Bailey, Ola Mai and Willie Lee Markum, Lola and Bratten Grizzle and Paul Bailey; her In-laws, William & Ann Patterson, Gentry & Margaret Patterson, Francis Patterson, Paul & Lela Sue Close and Sue Patterson.

She is survived by her children, Paulette Patterson (Junior) Parsley; Elaine Patterson Castelan; Grandchildren, Deanna (Ronnie) Bailey, Daffy Self (Bob Gilley), Shelia Collett (Ben Wanamaker), Debra Barrett (James Holland), Travis Thomas (Candace Hayes); Great grandchildren, Natasha (Blake) Parker, Natalie (Jason) Sanders, Will (Brook) Bailey, Vanessa Farris, Jesse Self, Dylan Collett, Tyler Self, Brady Burge and Bella Collett; Great great grandchildren, Kurstin Warrick, Karoline Sanders, Wyatt Coffman and Harper Bailey; In-laws, Joe & Bobbie Patterson, Tony Patterson and Paul Patterson. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

A member of the Short Mountain Methodist church at Half Acre, Ms. Billie was a wonderful homemaker. She enjoyed all the things that made her hold such a title. She loved to quilt, cook, garden and can. She passed this work of love down through her children and grandchildren. Most of all she loved attending church, her family and being "Gran-Gran".

Funeral services will be 11 am Friday, February 17, 2023 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Greg Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow in the Centerhill Cemetery.

Visitation with her family will be from 4 pm until 8 pm Thursday, February 16, 2023.
