Carolyn Mitchell Pearl

Carolyn Mitchell Pearl, age 89, passed away peacefully Thursday, May 19, 2022. She was the daughter of the late J.J. and Ina Ready Mitchell of Woodbury, TN. She loved spending time with her family and friends and was a great source of love, generosity, and support.
She is preceded in death by her husband, John "Jack" Pearl, son, John Russell Pearl, and great-grandson, Bodie Walker Campbell.
She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Nan Pearl Hensley and Greg Hensley; daughter-in-law, Gayle Ruhl Pearl; five grandchildren, Megan Pearl, Erin Pearl, Kayla Hensley Pharr (Zach), Mitchell Pearl (Denise), Kristen Hensley Campbell (Joel); five great-grandchildren, Jayden Pearl, John Luke Pharr, Jane Pharr, Owen Campbell, and Hensley Campbell.
Mrs. Pearl was a longtime member of the former Vultee Church of Christ.
There will be a graveside service on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Riverside Cemetery in Woodbury, TN with Walt Leaver officiating.
Mrs. Pearl loved to send cards of encouragement to friends and weekly had a small stack ready for the post office. For this reason, in lieu of flowers, the family encourages you to write a note or send a card this week in honor of their beloved Mema.
Donations in honor of Carolyn can be made to the Churches of Christ Disaster Relief and Lipscomb Academy or a charity of your choice.
