"Coming Home" Event Tonight At Basketball Games

The Cannon County Lions and Lionettes basketball teams won't let a little ice stop them from their first "Coming Home" event. Tonight's ball game mirrors the annual football team's homecoming event except on a smaller scale. All week the school has been hosting spirit type events and while there's no parade or pep rally just yet, they will be crowning a Coming Home King instead of Queen. The opponent tonight is Watertown with tipoff slated for 6:00p.m. The games will be livestreamed tonight on the Cannon Courier's Facebook page "Cannon Courier News and Events." Livestream will start around 5:50. We will carry the Coming Home ceremonies during the games.
