It's been said many times throughout social media since Sunday, the efforts of the Cannon County's first responders, Cannon County EMS, EMA, volunteer firefighters, police and sheriff's departments, electricity crews and other volunteers has been nothing short of phenomenal. These men and women are out clearing trees and debris, pulling cars and people out of ditches, and helping others in extreme weather conditions. Several of these people are non-paid volunteers.
The Cannon Courier salutes all the hard work of these people and we would like to compile pictures of these men and women in action over the past few days.. We encourage anyone to submit pictures by leaving them as comments in this Facebook thread or email them to news@cannoncourier.com. Please identify the people in the picture if at all possible and let us know which first responder group they are from.
Pictures will be in the February 23rd issue of the Cannon Courier saluting their efforts.
Thank you Cannon County First Responders and Volunteers!
