Judge hears drug cases, probations

Judge Susan Melton presided over General Sessions Court on Tuesday.  Some of the results of the various cases that appeared on the docket included:

Gregory Allen Arnold pled guilty to possession of a schedule II drug.  He was sentenced to 11 months 29 days in jail.  That sentence was suspended upon equal time on probation, paying a $750 fine and the costs.

Samuel Owen Booth III pled guilty to driving on a suspended license.  He was sentenced to 6 months in jail.  That sentence was suspended upon equal time on probation, paying a $50 fine and the costs.

William Franklin Claydon pled guilty under judicial diversion to facilitation of theft over $500. He was placed on probation for 11 months 29 days, ordered to pay restitution and the costs.

Brian Louis Dixon pled guilty to domestic assault.  He was sentenced to 11 months 29 days in jail.  That sentence was suspended upon equal time on probation and paying the costs.

Scotty Glenn Grizzle agreed to the violation of his probation.  He was ordered to serve 12 months and his probation was extended 17 months 29 days.  In another case Grizzle pled guilty to driving while license suspended.  He was sentenced to 11 months 29 days in jail.  That sentence was suspended upon equal time on probation, paying a$100 fine and the costs.

Shyane Hunter pled guilty to violating an order of protection.  Hunter sentenced to 11 months 29 days in jail.

Jake David Johnson pled guilty to driving on a suspended license.  He was sentenced to 6 months in jail.  That sentence was suspended upon equal time on probation, paying a $50 fine and the costs.

Ricky Dale Manier agreed to the violation of his probation.  He was ordered to serve 30 days in jail and his probation was extended 7 months.

Nathan Daniel Cody Mingle pled guilty to reckless endangerment.  He was sentenced to 11 months 29 days in jail.  That sentence was suspended upon equal time on probation, forfeiting seized property, paying a $500 fine and the costs.

Clyde B. Nokes pled guilty to DUI.  He was sentenced to 11 months 29 days in jail.  That sentence was partially suspended upon serving 7 days, equal time on probation, attending DUI School, paying a fine and the costs.

Ben Pascal pled guilty to perjury.  He was sentenced to 11 months 29 days in jail.  That sentence was suspended upon equal time on probation and paying the costs.

Lisa D. Patterson pled guilty to reckless endangerment.  She was sentenced to 11 months 29 days in jail.  That sentence was partially suspended upon serving 5 days, equal time on probation, paying a$525 fine and the costs.

Geoffrey A. Primus pled guilty to DUI.  He was sentenced to 11 months 29 days in jail.  That sentence was partially suspended upon serving 48 hours, equal time on probation, attending DUI School, paying a $350 fine and the costs.  In another case Primus pled guilty to possession of drugs.  He was sentenced to 11 months 29 days in jail.  That sentence was partially suspended upon serving 48 hours, equal time on probation, paying a $250 fine and the costs.

Dillon Jackson Reger agreed to the violation of his probation.  He was ordered to serve 45 days and his probation was extended 10 months 7 days.  In another case Reger pled guilty to domestic assault.  He was sentenced to 11 months 29 days in jail.  That sentence was suspended upon equal time on probation and paying the costs.

William E. Tillman pled guilty to DUI.  He was sentenced to 11 months 29 days in jail.  That sentence was partially suspended upon serving 48 hours, equal time on probation, paying a $350 fine and the costs.

Dustin Underhill pled guilty to driving on a revoked license.  He was sentenced to 6 months in jail.  That sentence was suspended upon equal time on probation, paying a $50 fine and the costs.

Robert Michael Wimberly agreed to the violation of his probation.  His probation was extended 11 months 29 days.  Wimberly's diversion for possession of drug paraphernalia was terminated and a guilty plea was entered.  He was sentenced to 11 months 29 days in jail.  That sentence was suspended upon equal time on probation.  Wimberly's diversion for reckless endangerment was terminated and a guilty plea was entered.  He was sentenced to 11 months 29 days in jail.  That sentence was suspended upon equal time on probation.  In another case Wimberly pled guilty to theft.  He was sentenced to 11 months 29 days in jail.  That sentence was suspended upon equal time on probation and paying the costs.  In another case Wimberly pled guilty to aggravated criminal trespass.  He was sentenced to 11 months 29 days in jail. That sentence was suspended upon equal time on probation and paying the costs.

Lisa Tanton agreed to the violation of her probation.  Her probation was extended 8 months.

Mary Poteete agreed to the violation of her probation.  Her probation was extended 11 months 29 days.  In another case Poteete pled guilty to passing a worthless check.  She was sentenced to 11 months 29 days in jail.  That sentence was suspended upon equal time on probation, paying restitution and the costs.

Sasha S. Brown's charges of aggravated burglary, theft over $500 and contraband in a penal institution were bound over to the September term of the Grand Jury.

Blake D. Burton's charges of theft under $500 X2, theft over $500 and aggravated burglary were bound over to the September term of the Grand Jury.

Jimmy Douglas Davis Jr.'s charges of initiating the process to manufacture methamphetamine and maintaining a dwelling were bound over to the September term of the Grand Jury.

Ashley D. Golden's chare of initiating the manufacture of methamphetamine was bound over to the September term of the Grand Jury.

Charles Thomas Grizzle's charges of theft over $500 X2, theft over $1000, burglary X2 vandalism, evading arrest, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a schedule II drug were bound over to the September term of the Grand Jury.

Larry Kevin Murphy's charges of possession of a controlled substance X2 and driving on a suspended license were bound over to the September term of the Grand Jury.

Richard L. Sloan's charge of initiation of the process to manufacture methamphetamine was bound over to the September term of the Grand Jury.

George Arthur Toth's charges of theft over $500, aggravated burglary and stalking were bound over to the September term of the Grand Jury.
