Middle Grades Lionettes Still Alive In Conference Tournament

The Cannon County Lionettes Middle Grades softball team has the goal of playing on Wednesday. After falling to Community Middle in the Duck River Valley Conference Tournament on Thursday, the Lionettes used a bottom of the seventh game winning double Friday to knock out Westwood Middle 9-8 of the double elimination postseason event.
Today the Lionettes will meet the host team of the tourney in Cascade in another elimination game. Cannon outlasted the Lady Champions March 11th. The game starts at 5:00

The high school baseball team is at home today taking on York at 5:00 High School softball hosts Cornersville tonight at 6:00 and the tennis team returns to action after a week long break due to Senior Trip where they will play White County in Woodbury with the matches starting at 3:30.
