New Water Storage Tank Funding Options Discussed At Aldermen Meeting Tonight

It should be more than a five minute meeting as the Town of Woodbury Mayor and Board of Aldermen are scheduled to meet Tuesday night. During the regular December meeting the group prayed, recited the pledge of allegiance approved the November meeting minutes and then turned out the lights and went home. Tonight is a public hearing to provide information and solicit comments about the Town applying for a drinking water state revolving fund loan in the amount of $800,000.00 to construct a new water storage tank.
After the public hearing the aldermen will consider adoption of Resolution 2020-01, a resolution authorizing and providing for the financing of the construction of a water facilities project, including authorizing the execution of the applications, contractual agreements and other necessary documents, and making certain representations, certifications, and pledges of certain revenue in connection with such financing.
The meeting will take place tonight at 7:00 in the Nolan "Dude" Northcutt building also known as city hall.

The Beer Board meeting will take place at 6:45 as the board will consider the application of Satishkumar Patel doing business as the Quick Shop Market 106 East Main Street Woodbury TN for "off premise consumption"
