Roger Dale Youngblood

Roger Dale Youngblood, age 78, died Saturday January 15 at his home in the short mountain community. Roger was a native of Cannon County and son of the late Toy & Alcie Thomas Youngblood. He is survived by 3 daughters, Robbie Bogle of Smithville, Faye Youngblood (Dale) of Woodbury and Angela Lynch (Mark) of Murfreesboro; 6 grandchildren, Erica Ramey, Kayce Sweeney, Dylan Sweeney, Lema Youngblood, Cierra Witty and Larena Youngblood; 7 great grandchildren and 1 on the way.

Roger enjoyed camping, fishing, working seek-a-word puzzles at the barn and feeding, petting, and spoiling the old red mule. He also enjoyed helping Steve Foster & sons on the farm and spending time with Jonathan "John John" Lynch.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 PM Tuesday January 18, 2022 at the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Greg Mitchell officiating. Internment followed at Leoni Cemetery. Pallbearers included, Steve, Wesley and Ethan Foster, Jonathan Lynch, Darrell Young and Jordan McGee. Visitation with his family will be after 3:00 PM Monday, January 17, 2022.
